INTRODUCTION
The Youth Curling Program is a very active program focusing on introducing young people to curling as a recreational and social sport, developing the skills of young curlers and FUN! Curling is a great way to meet people and make friends, while learning a sport you can play for a lifetime.
ESPCC offers comprehensive programs emphasizing fun, skills development and learning and playing the game. Our youth programs will be run on Sundays from October 17th, 2021 until March 20th, 2022, with a two week break during the Christmas school break.

YOUTH PROGRAMS
LITTLE ROCKS (Ages 6 - 9) League Day/Time – Sundays – 3:15 – 4:15 PM Registration Fee - $130.00
The emphasis is on fun while learning the fundamentals and etiquette of curling. Instruction will be provided to develop our curlers skills and technique with game play being gradually introduced.
Equipment Required: Curling broom, clean soled shoes, gripper, slip on slider (optional), comfortable loose fitting clothing, and a curling (or hockey) helmet is strongly recommended for curlers who are 12 years of age or under as of December 31st, 2021.
BANTAM (Ages 10 - 13) League Day/Time – Sundays – 12:30 – 2:30 PM Registration Fee – 170.00
The emphasis is on fun while learning the fundamentals and etiquette of curling. Instruction will be provided to develop curlers skills, technique and strategy using a combination of drills and game play. The first part of the season will focus on a combination of instruction and short games. Curlers will then progress to a round robin tournament and play-offs to end the season.

JUNIOR INTER-CLUB (Ages 14 - 18) League Day/Time - Sundays - Morning / Afternoon Draws Registration Fee - $170.00
We are looking for junior curlers to sign up as individuals or as an entire team. Experienced Bantam curlers can also participate in the inter-club league. For those curlers that sign up as individuals, teams will be formed at the start of the season.
The season will begin with each team participating in three weeks of clinics, one on one coaching with a CurlManitoba instructor. These sessions are designed to prepare the teams for the curling season with the refinement of skills, technique and strategy using a combination of intensive drills and game play. Team positions will be finalized during the clinics. Additional practice sessions will occur during the curling season, as required. Teams will then participate in a round robin tournament each week with junior curling teams throughout the surrounding area, with play-offs to end the season.
